Common problems
- Broken and slipped tiles after wind or hail
- Leaks around the chimney and in the valleys
- Rotten battens and a torn or missing membrane
- Loose ridge and hip tiles
- Displaced roof elements
A tiled roof can often be saved by re-laying it and replacing individual parts, but sometimes the battens and the membrane under the tiles need replacing too – so the repair starts with a check of the whole roof, not just the tiles.

We work mainly on residential and family properties in the city and the region, with a practical approach to staging, access and the actual scope.
Technical detail: the membrane under the tiles
Tiles stop most of the water, but wind drives rain and snow underneath them. An underlay membrane with counter-battens carries that water to the gutter and ventilates the roof – without it even well-laid tiles are not enough.

Process
We organise the work around the specifics of the city and the property, planning access, logistics and stages.
After a site visit, we prepare a quote for a tiled roof repair, tailored to the specific property in Pleven.
The final scope and price are confirmed after the site visit.

Every completed project receives a warranty certificate. This is what it covers and for how long.
The extended term applies to the installations themselves and to the roofing work. Installed ready-made products — taps, fittings, appliances — carry the manufacturer's warranty.

Yes, when the battens and membrane are sound. If they are rotten or torn, replacing a few tiles only postpones the leak.
The tiles are taken off, the battens and membrane are replaced, and the sound tiles go back on, with broken ones swapped for new.
Most often because the flashings and seals around it are worn. They are replaced together with the tile repair.
It depends on the height and pitch. We decide at the site visit – either way, we always work with fall protection.
In dry weather – in spring, summer and autumn. If there is a leak, we put temporary protection in place while the repair is planned.
The area and pitch, the condition of the battens and membrane, the flashings and access.
We start with a site visit and a clearly defined scope. The most common questions are about working in stages, timeframes for family properties and how an accurate quote is put together after the site visit.
You will receive a written quote and a stage-by-stage plan for the property.
